The “Genauas” is an ethic group that original from Ghana, now living in Morocco. The lead singer is El Malem Mahmud Gania. While singing, El Malem acompanies himself with the “Sentir”, a two string ethnic base made with made with camel skin. El Malem Mahmud Gania, is also a “Shaman” that practise trance healing ceremonies that last the all night until sunrise.
